As mentioned in our previous article, Gael's online training platform, the Academy, is due to be launched in April 2008. The academy is a Gael website offering online training courses for customers. Together with our suite of on-site Professional Services, the Gael Academy will help to improve the adoption of Q-Pulse in companies, especially where the system has been implemented but not rolled out beyond the initial project team. Work has been ongoing since Autumn 2007 and the website and online training courses are almost complete.
Why have online training?
The Academy has been designed to help deploy Q-Pulse throughout an organisation with the minimum of time, effort and cost, providing a comprehensive resource for rolling out training within the organisation, as well as rolling out across multiple locations. Your organisation's employees can access the training from anywhere - all they need is a computer and an internet connection.
The academy offers online training as a new and easy way for people to learn how to use Q-Pulse. Organising on-site training is sometimes not a cost-effective option, especially when your organisation has a high number of users. The Academy does not replace the need for full implementation training, but is recommended for users who don’t require the in-depth knowledge given in implementation training courses, as well as ‘top-up’ training for users who have already attended Q-Pulse training.
