As we’re drawing near to the end of 2008, it’s always a good time to reflect on what's been achieved thus far and to look ahead to what's in store for 2009.
At the beginning of the year we set ourselves a challenging goal - to deliver our new Occurrence & Incident handling modules (Q-Pulse IMS) for both web and Windows by the end of the second quarter. This was achieved mid-June with the release of Q-Pulse 5.51 and judging by the early feedback from users and the reaction at our recent user groups, we have released something special that also gives us a great platform to build upon for the next 12 months. Read more about the features of 5.51 here.
For the 2nd half of this year we targeted additional tools such as Data Import and APIs alongside further enhancement releases. Our goal is still to deliver these; however after consideration of customer feedback about the pace at which we are releasing new versions, and picking up on ideas and areas for improvement emerging from user groups and our community forums, we will use the remainder of this year to take stock, readjust and focus our efforts into a Q1 '09 release (Version 5.6).

More information on the enhancement content for 5.6 will be published on the Community before the end of the year. In addition to working on the new release, we are aiming to achieve Microsoft Windows Server certification for Q-Pulse, by implementing further 'under the hood' improvements.
Our roadmap now reflects this situation:
