Q-Pulse goes from strength to strength in aviation marketplace

Scottish software company Gael Ltd has strengthened its position in the international aviation marketplace with eleven airlines purchasing a new version of their award-winning compliance management software – Q-Pulse.

Launched in June this year, Q-Pulse IMS has already been chosen by eleven airlines including Cargolux (Europe’s largest all-cargo airline), Air Baltic Corporation, Abu Dhabi-based Amiri Flight and Air Greenland to enable them to manage core safety activities such as occurrence reporting, incident investigation and occurrence analysis.

Martin Bowman, Sales and Marketing Director at Gael said:

AeroLogic GmbH employ Q-Pulse to support their Quality and Safety Management System

We're pleased to announce that AeroLogic GmbH will be using Q-Pulse.

AeroLogic were founded in 2007 as a joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo AG and are based in Leipzig/Halle. They serve Asian destinations in the Express network of DHL Express, as well as supplementing the offer of Lufthansa Cargo, offering customers of both companies more capacities, more flexibility, an extended network and improved running times.

Because AeroLogic are a new start-up and have a planned fleet of more than 10 brand new Boeing 777 aircraft, they need to monitor and review safety and airworthiness throughout the organisation. When implementing a quality management system (QMS), AeroLogic chose Q-Pulse to help them ensure the safety of crews as well as the continuing airworthiness of their aircraft.

With AeroLogic’s first planes scheduled to take off in the summer of 2009, AeroLogic are now on course for a systematic approach to managing Quality and Safety with Q-Pulse. They plan to start using Q-Pulse to schedule audits, rolling out the system to include CA/PA management and trend analysis

Gael attends International Air Safety Seminar in Seoul, South Korea

In October 2007, Martin Bowman, Sales Director of Gael Ltd, and I attended the 60^th Annual International Air Safety Seminar in Seoul, South Korea. The event was attended by more than 300 people from the aviation industry.

As a client facing member of the Gael team, I found this to be an invaluable experience both in terms of meeting existing clients and nurturing existing business relationships. It was also an excellent opportunity to meet potential prospects who had possibly never encountered Q-Pulse previously.

Although we have an unrivalled customer base both in Europe, the Middle East and parts of North America, I felt that by going to Seoul, we were making a real effort to get in touch with potential clients from markets where we have not had as much exposure traditionally, such as the Far East.

Although we do have some notable aviation clients in the Far East, such as Air Hong Kong, it is imperative that we effectively communicate the benefits of the system to the wider aviation community. Attending events such as this is one of the ways in which this has been achieved.
