The TV show, X-Factor, seems to be taking over the world at the moment – becoming a hit in countries such as Australia, USA and the UK to name a few. But with all the commotion and news around this show, it got me thinking that Gael has been involved
in a different factor - the Q-Factor!
Quality at ‘the Auditions’
Over the last few months we have been heavily involved in the Q-Factor, travelling all across the UK to ‘audition’. However, instead of being judged by the X-Factor judges, we’re trying to influence our own judging panel - the Q-Pulse users.
To reinforce quality, we held the Q-Pulse User Groups during World Quality Week.
We chose this week as in today’s global economy where success depends so much on quality and innovation, World Quality Week is the profession’s opportunity to reinforce the principles of quality management.
The User Group was used as an open discussion for our customers to share best practices and provide feedback from their compliance challenges.
Quality at ‘the Live Show’
We continued the Q-Factor by using the topics of discussion at the User Groups for the quality event of the year – the CQI national conference.
Gael exhibited and sponsored the show which had a ‘real quality buzz’. There was a good turnout with some excellent discussions including, a single unified quality system is the way forward.
One of the main topics of discussion at the event, ‘engagement is the key to making quality work’’, struck a real chord with us as they are totally in line with the messages to which we promote and the functionality we and our products deliver.
All joking aside about the Q-Factor, Gael works closely with customers and regulatory bodies to help them understand the challenges they face in relation to quality and compliance, so we can provide them with a solution.
We want to hear from you if you attended the CQI National conference or User Groups - what did you learn?
