Gael Ltd Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

The following terms and conditions apply to your use of this website at www.gaelcommunity.com and all its content, including databases and the RSS feed ("Feed") featured on this website (altogether "Website"),the message section forum on this website ("Forum") and the area of the website for downloading materials, information and software ("Audit Exchange"). These terms and conditions are issued by us, Gael Limited (registered number SC208191) of 1 Cambuslang Court, Cambuslang, Glasgow, Scotland G32 8FH. By using the Website, Forum and Audit Exchange you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please refrain from using our site.

Forum and Audit Exchange

Users of the Gael Ltd site may submit material for publication in the Forum and/or Audit Exchange. Gael Ltd accepts no liability in respect of any material submitted by users of the Forum and Audit Exchange and published by Gael Ltd and Gael Ltd is not responsible for Forum and Audit Exchange content or accuracy. The Forum messages posted, and information available in the Audit Exchange, represent the views of the author of each message or piece of information, and not the views of the Gael Ltd. Gael Ltd do not endorse or make any representations about websites to which Forum and Audit Exchange postings link or any material found there. If you decide to access any third party website you do so entirely at your own risk.
If you want to submit material or post messages to the Forum and/or Audit Exchange you may do so on the following terms and conditions:

1. Publication of any material you submit will be at the sole discretion of Gael Ltd and Gael Ltd is entitled to make additions or deletions to any such material prior to publication, after publication or to refuse publication.
2. You grant Gael Ltd a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to republish any material you submit in any format, and you warrant to Gael Ltd that any material you submit is your own work and that you own the copyright and all relevant rights and have obtained any consents/ approvals/licences required for your submission of the material and our use/modification of the material in accordance with i) above.
3. You warrant that material you submit and our use/modification of the material in accordance with 1. above will not infringe any third party rights whatsoever.
4. You warrant that the material you submit is not obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal.
5. You agree not to post material that is deliberately intended to upset other users or any content which is technically harmful including but not limited to spam and viruses.
6. You acknowledge that any breach of these warranties may cause Gael Ltd damage or loss and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gael Ltd in full and permanently against any third party liabilities, claims, costs, loss or damage incurred by Gael Ltd as a result of publishing any material you submit to us, including consequential loss.

We have the rights to remove objectionable content within a reasonable time frame if we determine that removal is necessary or desirable for any reason, at our discretion. We may terminate your use if you post content prohibited by this notice.

We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any information we have about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any information posted about you or by you.

Passwords

You agree never to give the password allocated to you for use of the Forum, Feed or Audit Exchange out to any third party. You also agree never to use another person's password to post messages or materials, browse the Forum and Audit Exchange or to access the Feed.

We are entitled by law to charge a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

This Website, the Forum and Audit Exchange use cookies to collect information about your use of the site. Cookies are small amount of information which we store on your computer to collect information. General

1. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Gael Limited relating to the use of the Website, Forum and Audit Exchange and supersede all other agreements or understandings between users and us.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, you agree that reasonable endeavours shall be made to give effect to the intentions reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
3. In the event we fail to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms and conditions at any time this shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
4. Gael Ltd reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change these terms and conditions by posting changes on the Website. Any subsequent use of (including without limitation accessing) the Website, Forum and Audit Exchange is deemed to amount to acceptance of those revised terms and conditions.
5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scots law and the parties agree to irrevocably shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
