I have been a user of QP 4 for many years and now using V5.2 very successfully.  Lucky as we are a new operation and bought V5.0 last year with no need to upgrade from previous versions.  Upgrading to the web with 5.2 was seamless although do find it more of a challenge using the Audit and CAPA on the web.  We use the Audit module extensively for JAR-OPS1 (EU-OPS), and EASA Part M requirements. Obviously the CAPA module which I have renamed Reports is also used extensively as a result of audits.  Documents, Suppliers and from today, it appears the Training and People module may be used by our in house training department.

I am currently working within the Adult & Community Services and we are using Q-Pulse primarily to record and monitor Complaints.  Thus far it seems to be working very well and reporting has become much easier.  We are hoping to start using the other modules, especially the Audit and Supplier Modules, across other teams within the department.

That's really interesting - I used to work in local government for social work (which later became housing and scoial work services) and worked closely with the performance/quality section, who dealt with complaints, quality and accreditation, etc.

If you need any advice on the other modules, please don't hesitate to post on the forums, there's a lot of very knowledgable Q-Pulse users in the Community, as well as our own staff, who could help you.

My name is Ailsa, and I'm a Radiotherapy Physicist specialising in the black art of brachytherapy (a sub-specialism of radiotherapy, in which we treat tumours (and occasionally other things) either from the inside out or from very close range). However, among the other hats I wear, I also have the joy (!!?) of managing the Radiotherapy Physics part of the joint Quality System here at the Arden Cancer Centre in Coventry. Our quality system scope covers the design, preparation and provision of radiotherapy and oncology treatments (plus all the supporting activities which go on behind the scenes...).

We have been using QPulse for a number of years now, and we are just embarking on the fun journey of migration from version 4.2 to 5.2, so I probably ought to apologise now, as the likelihood of my asking some stupid sounding questions in the next few weeks is quite high...
