One of our customers in the aviation sector is producing some nice results with the Audit module beyond the traditional JAR-OPS, Part 145 etc. compliance areas where they are now using it for Operations Standards Audits and IOSA.Do you have any similar experiences?

We (EK Flight Ops) have set up out parts of IOSA (ORG / FLT / DIS) where each ISARP is already a finding. All ISARP info, GM, and previous compliance info is entered as stages of the finding. The compliance activities and final closure, based on AO response can be tracked this way - the full info for each ISARP is thus in one place. Need conditional reports though to be really successful. I am exporting 'findings' (ISARPS) to Excel to generate the AO compliance list. Lokks good / meets our needs..
Hello Robert, how did you manage to input that much data in a reasonably workable time?
Hi Nick,
I'm trying to get IATA to give us the IOSA Rev 2 checklists in an unprotected format so that we can easily upload this into systems like Q-Pulse. Presently they supply this info in PDF and protected Word format. It makes sense to provide this info in a format that the carriers can utilise to save them from copying / pasting the checklists into their internal systems.
Best wishes,
Martin

Thanks for the info, I'm using the cut & paste method into access, its slow, then IATA change the questions just in time to start again.
cheers,
What rev are you using? I have Rev 1 already. Emailed IATA yesterday for an update on Rev 2.
I'm using Edition 2, Rev 2 effective July 2009, available on the IOSA website.
Thanks Nick.
Will keep on at IATA. I have Finnair in with me tomorrow and am with Emirates next week, both of whom are supportive of my case so will see what additional pressure we can put on Montreal.
All the best,
Dear Martin;
I am Technical Quality Engineer of Freebird Airlines. We are also IATA Member and we have unprotected last revision word checklist of IOSA. Could you or someone help importing these checklist into Q-Pulse?
Kind regards;
Anıl
Hi Anil,
We now have rev 2 into a format that can be imported. Someone will be in touch to discuss.
BTW I hear through the grapevine that the rev 3 update due in 2010 will be aligned to the ICAO SMS requirements.
