Movie 1 - All time fav, The Princess Bride

Movie 2 - Comedy - The Waterboy

Movie 3 - Feel Good Factor - Cinderella Man

Movie 4 - Action - The Last Samurai

Movie 5 - Best at the cinema - Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Well I didn't want to reply to my own post, it's a bit like talking to yourself isn't it! But seen as you've replied, I will too!

In no particular order: 

1. Back to the Future (Got the trilogy, but the original is probably the best!)
   
2. The Godfather Part 2 (again, got the trilogy, butpart 2 has to be the best!)
3. Wayne's World
4. Vanilla Sky
5. Terminator 2

In no particular order: 

1. All out Action - Terminator
2. Family - E.T.
3. Drama - Pulp Fiction
4. Action - Lock, Stock and 2 Smokin' Barrels
5. Suspense - Jaws
6. Horror - Dracula (Christopher Lee)
7. Comedy - Nacho Libre

Just a small selection but too many more favourites to mention.

It's hard to narrow down to five, but here goes...

1. Have to agree with Lauren - The Princess Bride is the best movie ever and has it all - action, romance, comedy - inconceivable
2. Cold Mountain
3. Kill Bill - vol 1 and 2
   
4. Gone with the Wind
   
5. And I have to throw in an Australian movie - Muriel's Wedding - what a classic!

Anchorman, Goodfellas, Back to the future, Die Hard.... too tough to narrow to five!

3. Pretty Woman
4. Die Hard
5. Terminator

Another Die Hard and Terminator fan - woohoo!

I've not seen Enemy of the State for years - that was pretty good!

4. Terminator - as long as you ignore the later films

5. Robocop - see Terminator note!!!!!!

Special Mention - Princes Bride, have to agree with earlier comments and I can watch it with the kids unlike some of my list above!

I know it's an old post, but just saw it and wanted my top 5 listed!:

1.  The Wedding singer - watch this on a regular basis, love it

2.  Good Fellas - fantastic gangster film

3.  The Holiday - great feel good movie, actually watched this for the first time recently, highly recommended

4.  In Her Shoes - chick flick, love it but thought the book was loads better than the fild

5.  Drop Dead Fred - hilarious film with Rick, good film to watch with kids (so long as their name is not Isabella!)
